I had the opportunity to learn about Biblical counseling at a week-long conference. I had been studying and teaching the Bible for about ten years at the time. After our first day of lectures, conversations, and trips to the resource center, I looked at my friend and declared, “I have found my people!” 

It’s hard to believe that it’s already the beginning of June, which means it’s summer break for a lot of people. How did we get here so fast? As a kid, summers seemed endless, until they weren’t. As an adult, things are not much different. My life is often busy and time moves fast.

God has used biblical counseling to strengthen my faith and correct my view of myself, life, and most importantly of Him. He has done this through His abounding great grace. Looking back on my life, I needed biblical counseling. I needed to allow the Word of God to dwell richly within me...
